About

I am a designer and sustainability specialist with EHDD where I work on a diverse range of project types and scales in a variety of climates. I am actively involved in developing the firm’s “Sustainability Roadmap” which includes benchmarking, energy modeling and the annual 2030 commitment reporting. I believe there needs to be a stronger connection between architectural education and work environments for the benefit of both sides and draw on my teaching experience for creative solutions to practical problems at the office. My design sensibility is inherently connected with my technical knowledge about building science and I values the contribution of empirical data to design decisions. My experience as both a designer and a sustainability specialist on multidisciplinary teams has reinforced my belief in the power of integrated collaborative design and I strive in fostering meaningful communication between the technical and creative members of a design team.
