About

I'm extremely passionate about architecture, design and the built environment.  I have a strong interest in understanding the relationships between the context, site and program in order to build arguments for formal gestures that are performative and diagrammatic; aiming to express and communicate the complexities of the urban landscape.  As a former marketer and seller, I understand firsthand the challenges behind branding strategies through advertising campaigns.  As a designer, I'm now able to merge my expertise in branding with design to achieve architecture that reflects a high level of design, personalized environments and the need for a striking visual identity.

Most recently I had the opportunity to work as a Design Assistant for an award winning and published architecture office in which I focused on the preparation and development of schematic, design and construction documents for mixed residential high-end projects.  Some of my accomplishments at this firm include working on the development of design documents for a major city competition of a 1.2M SF mixed residential high-end project, which the firm won in December of 2013.  I also have professional experience using all major design programs to develop design and construction documents with Revit and Autocad as well as advanced 3D modeling and rendering skills using Rhino, Sketchup, 3DS Max, Vray, Maxwell and Adobe Suite programs.  I’m also a faster learner with the ability to quickly and independently learn your office design standards, required software and overall practices.

Prior to my academic studies in Architecture I had the opportunity to work as Project Manager for major media companies such as NBC Universal, People Magazine, New York Magazine and The Wall Street Journal. Having worked in advertising sales for several years I was able to build a strong professional background in a corporate environment and general office administration, project management, business development, revenue reports and quarterly budget analysis/tracking, designing branding materials and building client relationships by managing marketing campaigns for major advertisers.
