Robert Hughes

I am a student at Pratt Institute, working towards my bachelor's degree in architecture. While I pursue my studies at Pratt, I am also seeking an opportunity to gain experience in the professional environment.

My background work and coursework have supplied me with many skills and an understanding of architectural practices. My first two years at Pratt have introduced me to various technical skills such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Maya, and Rhinoceros 4.0. I have a basic understanding of Sketchup and rendering software, including V-Ray and Brazil 2.0. I also have experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop and have attained the ability to produce and read architectural drawings from previous work experience.

I am looking to expound my education in order to acquire the background necessary for a future career in architecture and design. I want to gain experience in the design community to further improve my concepts and understandings of the subject.

Active in photography; comfortable with both traditional and digital, also skilled with traditional methods of film processing and photograph development.
