About

Over the past six years, I have attended Northeastern University and attained a Bachelor of Science in Architecture last May. This year I am attending Northeastern in pursuit of my Master's of Architecture Degree and I will graduate this May. During this time, I have also earned Internship Development Hours, through cooperative learning periods of working at firms, with the long term goal of becoming a licensed architect. I look forward to growing my professional skills through more design experience upon graduation.

Employment

Jones Architecture, Salem, MA, US, Architectural Designer

Jones Architecture is a small firm in Salem, Massachusetts that was started by Richard Jones. Rick worked at Perry Dean Associates for a number of years and had established connections with many different educational institutions. During my time at Jones Architecture, I have helped with a number of different projects. These projects have been primarily at Northeastern University, where Jones Architecture does fit-outs of existing spaces in order to fit new users or functions. For these jobs, I have worked extensively on construction documents and visual aids. These projects consistently have very short deadlines and are structured as design-build projects. In addition to the projects at Northeastern, I have also gained experience working on a large scale renovation of Kreitzberg Library at Norwich University. For this project, I have contributed to the construction document set, as well as participated in developing many presentations. I have done this through rendering as well as creating 3D models and diagrams. My time at Jones Architecture has also been spent selecting finishes for spaces, as well as picking up redlines for other projects. In addition, I have participated in measuring a variety of spaces and completing as-builts for those buildings.
