About

Hello,

My name is Priya Arora and I am LEED accredited with a Master of Architecture from University of Cincinnati, Ohio and Master of City Planning from IIT Kharagpur, India.

I continually aspire to further enhance my career in Architecture and work on Architectural projects that create intelligent buildings and sustainable neighborhoods.

I had the opportunity to work on such projects during my tenure at Perkins Eastman, SOM, HBRA, WDG Architecture and RSA R204, in the areas of Workplace/ Hospitality, Community and Residential. As part of my responsibilities, I interacted with the clients and consultants, worked on schematic, design development and construction drawings, LEED documentation and construction administration.

During my Master of Architecture at University of Cincinnati, I developed a passion and interests towards revitalization, smart growth, and sustainable projects. Throughout my studies I developed skills for research, design strategy and implementation of such design ideas into reality through physical models, sketches and 3D computer models.

I also do realize that designing for the future entails keeping pace with the latest trends and technologies of Architecture. With this aim, I have proactively enrolled into courses for Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, 3D Studio max, Solid Works, AutoCAD, Construction techniques and Building Structures at City College of San Francisco. These courses have really opened up new design opportunities for me.

I am confident that I can do so and contribute, in all capacities, by being part of an Architectural/ Urban Designer team.

Thanks,
Priya
