I am an an architect, researcher and educator currently working at XLArch department at XJTLU, Suzhou China.
I was born in Caracas Venezuela and  I am a registered architect in Portugal and in the UK.
I hold a PhD and MSc from the Bartlett, UCL UK, an MSC in Urban Design from ISCTE/IUL and a Dipl Arch degree from Lusiada University in Portugal.

I am co-principal of "Augmented Architectures", a design practice researching on adaptive and interactive systems based in London. I have practiced urban design and architecture in several offices in Portugal in the areas of urban planning, architecture and interior design.

Before Joining XJTLU I taught in several universities in the UK and Portugal in the areas of architecture, interior design, environmental technology and materials, interactive design and visualization. 

I am an external examiner at DOMUS academy in Milan, Italy in the MA of Interior Design and Living since 2010. Since September 2012 I am the China correspondent for Jornal de Arquitectos, a tri-monthly magazine of the Portuguese Architects Registration Board. 

I am an affiliated Assistant Professor at ADETTI, Advanced Research Lab, ISCTE IUL Lisbon Portugal since 2008. I am part of the scientific and technical committees: of ACHIM, HCI, Sigradi, eECADe, CAAD Futures, CAADRIA conferences.
