I recently received my ‘Master of Science’ degree in Architecture from the international, interdisciplinary and generalistic Master study course ‘Architektur.Studium.Generale.’
Already after my Bachelor degree i was focused on an international experience wherefore i decided to go for one year to Japan. In two trimester at ‘University of Tsukuba’ i choose to attend a diverse fields of studies like world heritage, printing technics and graphic design to enhance my interdisciplinary conception. Additionally i worked 4 month in the architecture office ‘Shigeru-Ban-Architects’ in Tokyo. To compare this practical experience i worked at the german architecture office ‘Graft Architekten’ in Berlin as well. All that gave me a complex view into the field of Architecture. I specify my architectural perception with the generalistic Master study course at the ‘Brandenburg University of Technology in Cottbus’ in 2010.
‘Architektur.Studium.Generale.‘ comprises 8 Workshops in a network of 8 different Universities in Europe. Each 7 weeks a new environment, new teaching methods and a new challenges which needed to be solved. In small and large groups of international students i learned to facilitate diverse approaches and perspectives to a common solution. This study course enabled me to enhance my abilities in strategic planning and conceptual designing. Furthermore i expanded my knowledge in visual communication, graphic design and theoretical work by which i won the first price at the ‘International Young Planning Professional Award’ and hold a lecture at the ‘European Urban Summer School’ in London.
