Giulia Delpiano

I am an Italian architect graduated in July 2011. I have six years of professional experience in Italy and eight months of collaboration in Finland.

I approached architecture from a scientific point of view studying technical architecture and civil engineering. Then, because of my passion on specific fields I focused my Master Degree on Interior design.
I directly chose the places where I had the different steps of my education (Turin/Rome–Italy, Turku-Finland, Auroville-Tamil Nadu India). That is because I was aware of the matters I really wanted to be involved in. This education allowed me to gain different approaches and point of views about architecture and design.

In my previous works I experienced in detail executive projects, with significant roles in managing. I developed all the stages of the architectural project: concept development, programming and schematic design, construction administration, activities with suppliers and customers.
During the internship in BASIC NET Italia Retail I was part of the architectural team that designs shop for Superga, Kappa, K-Way, Jesus Jeans, Besson and Sabelt.
In the last two years I have developed the creation of painted jewelleries, drawing architectural prospectives and joining my two main passions: art and architecture.

I would describe myself as highly motivated, inquisitive, responsible, object oriented and with problem-solving capabilities.
Moreover, I think I would be able to offer an effective contribution to architectural and design team through my fast learning capabilities, my strong sensibility for details, my passion for architecture and interior design, my empathy with a creative environment and my belief in core values as passion, balance, integrity and excellent.
