My name is Tariq Mahadin and I'm a landscape architect and interior designer. I'm currently working with MK Associates as the vice chairman of the board. MK Associates is the first professional landscape architecture firm in the Middle East since 1987. The company was founded by Prof. Dr. Kamel O. Mahadin, ASLA, IFLA.

Last year I’ve completed my second Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, and I am currently researching full time employment opportunities in the US. For the past ten years I have been studying, practicing, and teaching in design fields. During this time I have received three professional degrees and have been involved with design projects within the international market. In 2006 I received a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Petra University in Jordan. I then went on to complete a Master’s degree in Landscape Design and Environmental Planning from Catania University in Italy, and I’ve completed another Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Mississippi State University.

The combination of my educational background in design and my work experience has developed and strengthened my skills in understanding and providing solutions for the challenges that landscape architects currently face. This work experience includes:

• Six years as an interior designer and landscape architect at MK Associates (Jordan’s leading landscape design firm), spending two years as an intern, two as a junior interior designer, and two years as a junior landscape architect. http://mk-assoc.com/

• A year and a half interacting directly with the campus master planner at Mississippi State University as graduate assistant.

• Currently I’m the project coordinator for building 3 hospitals in Iraq designed and built by Turkish firms.
