I am a dynamic and creative registered architect with a few years experience in various projects
and constructions on residential, industrial and commercial buildings.
In particular in my last role as Lighting architect at Design International
Milan Office I’ve been in charge of the design of lighting schemes for retail,
mixed used developments and office buildings, from the concept stage to the preparation of the
tender documentation, from the mock-up fase to the realisation.
I am comfortable working both alone as part of a team, always trying to give positive and
constructive feedbacks and evaluating everyone contribution to the realisation of the
common goal.

After a long service with Design International as an architect and in other
highly creative roles within the firm Roberto joined my expanding lighting
design team in November 2008.
Roberto’s senior experience, position in our Milan design studio and high
enthusiasm for lighting and the projects we were doing within DI made him a
natural candidate to make the transition into lighting design which allowed my
team to work on and develop projects more easily in Italy.
Roberto made an immediate very positive impact and in assisting me. His
creative architectural, graphic and conceptual skills were perfect for the
projects we were doing. As a new-comer to lighting Roberto embraced the
learning experience to understand the huge technical background of the
lighting design profession, with this I mentored him closely. Over the last 3
years and 7 months Roberto worked on many projects in Italy as well as
Egypt, Morocco and France. His successfully completed projects were in
Pompei and Catania. As part of his job Roberto liaised with clients, engineers,
lighting suppliers and of course all our internal architects, landscape architects
and interior designers.
Sadly, in May 2012, due to a major internal restructuring of the company we
had to very reluctantly let Roberto go along with a few other staff from other
disciplines. I very much hope to work with Roberto in the future as he was a
highly creative colleague.
