During my 6 years with West Chin Architect, I worked as a project architect on numerous high-end residential projects in New York City, East Hampton & Rhode Island area. Project includes both renovation/ extension to ground-up. My work scope includes the following:

During my one and half year of employment with Gabellini Sheppard and Associates, I am serving as a project architect for a major retail project in New Jersey (project name confidential). The scope of work includes working with design principle on developing retail space planning and design, project managing, coordination and completion of DD package. I also worked on details for two other hospitality projects.

I worked at a four person furniture design and production company, Bizhan Home & Projects, as project manager/ designer for a hospitality project and two residential building; Hotel Gansvoort Park New York; 525 Borden Ave New York; and 323 Park Ave. South New York. The scope of works includes project proposal, contract documents and reports; weekly meeting and discussion with clients; project budget revision; project milestone for design and production; shop drawing review and quality control; field investigation; administrative work; managing the New York office.

In my three years with RVA, I worked on two institutional building, Bard College and Penn State University; an international airport in Montevideo Uruguay; project size range from 19,000 square foot to 260,000 square foot. My involvement with each projects span from the end of SD to completion of CD; In addition, I spent eight months on CA for Center for Science and Computation at Bard College. The scope of work includes design studies and analysis, construction drawings, 3D modeling, punch lists, shop drawing reviews, ASI, PR, RFI responses, FF&E, coordination with consultants and contractors, oversees construction and administrative works.

I went to Washington University in St. Louis for my master of architecture degree.
During 2+ years at Washington University, I had the opportunity to spend one full semester studying in Tokyo Japan with the local University, as well as one summer in Barcelona Spain. Both experiences gave me a broad perspective on how culture effect our thinking in making architectural design.
In addition, I also served one semester as a TA for lighting and acoustic design.
