I have most recently studied at Tulane University in New Orleans where I earned a first professional Degree (Masters) of Architecture.
I experienced the Asian educational system with high standards of discipline at an early age—but for the age of the new millennium and with the encouragement of my family in South Korea, I came to the United States and learned the importance of creative and critical thinking, diversity, and risk-taking—all essential aspects of the educational system in America. Coupled with my rigorous work habits, those valuable ideas and experiences have been integrated into a seamless whole, further propelling my creative thoughts and even contributing to a new and cosmopolitan style for self-presentation and dress.
Within the domain of architectural practice, I has dealt with the widest array of projects, from programming and small-scale residential to landscape design and skyscraper development.

My architectural perspective, expressed in my final thesis project, stresses the idea that contemporary society is mainly built on striated flows. These flows, operating on all levels and at multiple scales, are in a state of perpetual flux. Rather than existing as separate entities, these flows are associative. Though they may have different characteristics, they interlink and borrow their energies and attributes from one another across time and space. As a consequence, inanimate objects –which include the form of architecture—must be designed to engage and embrace the dynamic of each other in a mutually beneficial set of formulations and relationships. This is the dream of Newton’s calculus and the measure of all things in our quantum universe: activity and form are subsumed into one another through architecture and design. Antagonisms and friction are overcome through persistent and mutually beneficial recognition—the key component for the ongoing growth of developmental, productive relationships.
