Silas Haslam enjoys referring to himself in the third person. Mr. Haslam received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a sociology minor at the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 2006 where his interests focused on installation art, meticulous drawing, and group movement through space. After working as a craftsman at luxury furniture shop, Silas continued his interests toward social interaction in the built environment by enrolling into the University of Virginia's School of Architecture. Once there, his research in phenomena led to a variety of studies, capped off with a thesis project which used a variety of BIM software programs to produce sitemaps of multiple, overlapping phenomenal conditions.
