Most recently, Bahar was asked by the Chairman & CEO of bebe (NASDAQ:BEBE) to overhaul the company’s architectural design capabilities and spearheaded all design and construction activities. As the Chief Architect, she quadrupled the architectural design efficiency, improved the construction process and significantly reduced the average overall cost of new store opening and remodeling. Prior to that, Bahar was with Aedas (fourth largest architectural firm in the world). At Aedas, she designed several iconic landmarks including “The Tornado” and “The Sail”. Bahar managed large concurrent projects across multiple international offices including 82-story Ocean Heights in Dubai marina and 57-story Empire Tower in Abu Dhabi. Ocean Heights is the 4th tallest residential building in the world. Prior to Aedas, Bahar worked with a number of progressive architectural and interior design firms. Bahar has been recipient of several prestigious awards including Young Architect of the Year Award and The Best Design of the Year Award.
