Worked with teams on a variety of projects in both the higher-education and healthcare sectors, as well as many marketing pursuits. My work has mostly been in the conceptual/schematic design phase of projects. Projects include: Navrachana University Student Center, MAX India Healthcare Campus, Bates College Student Housing, University of Sharjah Feasibility Study, KOC University Healthcare Campus, and North Carolina Agricultural and Technology State University Student Union. My contributions include diagramming, illustrative plans and sections, 3d modeling and rendering, and physical models, as well as graphic design on a number of reports, competitions and award submissions.
Boston Architectural College (BAC), Boston, MA, Adjunct Faculty
Co-taught second semester freshman foundation studio, lead in-class activities and critiques, design homework and assignments, present project introductions in lecture settings, and contribute to curriculum development. The semester-long studio focuses on the fundamentals of human occupation, technical drawing and modeling skills and the formation of space.
Taft Architects, Houston, TX, Intern Architect
Intern architect at Taft Architects for one year, beginning in Spring 2007 and ending after the fall of 2009. I worked on two main projects: Rice Child Care Center (2007-2008) and the Tirey/van Lohuizen Residence (2009). My responsibilities included developing the 3-d models and presentation
renderings for the client, as well as assisting with construction documents. In 2009 I worked on the Tirey/van Lohuizen Residence. I was in charge of all drafting and 3d modeling for the project. I also worked on a few smaller projects with Taft Architects in collaboration with Project Row House
developing feasibility studies for low income housing in Houston’s third ward.

Intern architect at Office dA for one year in 2008. In the fall of 2008 I worked on seven competitions all over the world, ranging from small residencies to urban planning proposals. I worked as part of the team developing the design concept, diagramming, and preparing the final presentations. Throughout the year I also helped with the design development phases of the Tellapur housing project and the Madawaska border crossing. In the spring I managed the design and coordination of a book that featured a 20-year history of Office dA’s installations and material research.
Carlos Jimenez Studio, Houston, TX, US, Summer Intern
Intern architect at Carlos Jimenez Studio for the summer of 2006. I worked on two main projects that summer, a ranch house design in west Texas and One Museum Place Residential Tower in Atlanta. On these projects I worked on physical models, both basswood finished models and paper/foam process models.
University of Georgia Campus Architects, Athens, GA, US, Summer Intern
Intern architect with the UGA Campus Architects for three summers, starting my junior year of high school. I primarily worked with the project manager for athletics. Over the three summers my main project was creating and updating drawings of Stegeman Coliseum and Sanford Stadium. I attended many construction and fabrication meetings to learn about the design development and construction process.
