About

My name is Kiran Chicoine and I am a 3D Studio Max and multimedia artist.  I have a strong ability to model what I see and I love to create.  I have a high proficiency with Adobe Photoshop for editing photos, compositions and creating textures.  With Adobe's FLASH application I can create vector graphics and small websites.  I would like to be a part of a company that takes team work seriously.

I apply a learning by doing methodology to my work, so that everything can be understood and resolved quickly.  I make sure that any issue is monitored for changes so that it's status can be updated accordingly.  I have no problem editing, resizing, or compositing works from various programs, for different forms of production.  I have a good understanding of printing process and size requirements for graphics.  I have no problem working with multiple projects at the same time, as I set priorities for each project.  Balancing aspects such as due date, quantity of work, ease of work, etc.

I love creating logos, little graphics, tileable works from different applications and keep all files organized in separate folders depending on what application was used, what project it was, and when it was initially created.  I keep backup copies of all works on an external hard drive in case of any unforeseen critical errors or need for previous versions.  I enjoy learning new software and can pick up on changes quickly.  I have no problem asking for assistance when needed and actively seek others' point of view and approval of my work.  I can take constructive criticism well and welcome what everyone has to say.

I have experience importing, editing and exporting 3D models and CAD geometry for use in other programs.  Scaling these models to fit their final program.
