About

Hello there!

I am a current student at The Boston Architectural College and have been living in Boston for two years.  I am very interested in working on many projects using a variety of programs and applications to further my experience and develop my portfolio as a student.
I have been at the BAC for two years and have worked on different projects in the community including The Chinatown Green Storefronts Project, where I helped  redesign
a storefront facade and energy consumption/use.  As well as lead a team of sixteen to cut and build a 7'X8' shed for Habitat for Humanity as part of my Eagle Scout leadership project.   I am an extremely self motivated individual who is looking to launch a career in the architectural field.  I have two and a half years experience working with
Auto CAD designing mock studio projects and working in a firm as an intern fixing Auto CAD files.  I have experience using rendering programs
such as 3Ds MAX and Sketchup but am also very capable of using other rendering programs and am a very fast learner.  I have shadowed other
architects for half a year learning more about the trade and duties at Tecton Architects in Hartford, CT.  I came in five days a week to go on site visits,
fix Auto CAD files, and attend meetings and bids as a sit in.  I created my own personal projects experimenting with other types of software including,
Revit, Rhino, and Piranesi.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any positions, or programs available.  I would love to meet new professionals in the field that could help me advance my career and practice.

Employment

Framers of the Lost Art, Mystic, CT, Framer/Sales Associate

I Assisted Customers with custom artwork and picking out frames and mats to coordinate with their original artwork. I learned valuable communication skills and how to sell art as well as matching color patterns, the different kind of materials used for frames, and how to present an idea or scheme to a customer. In addition to working with the customers, I also worked behind the scenes cutting, joining, sealing, backing, and fitting the art into frames and glass.

Education

Boston Architectural College (BAC), Boston, MA, US, High School, BArch

Studio, rendering software programs, AutoCAD, drawing, portfolio design, english, design principles, and laser assisted model making. Studio is the main class at the BAC and is a conceptual approach to the world of architecture. It makes you think of things in a different and more personal way. The projects are very abstract and force constant thinking and iterations of ideas until the final project at the end of the year where you have a thesis and a story line of analysis to tell the reasoning and explanation of your final building/feature.
