My name is Niyati Patel and I am a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Architecture with a minor in Art History. Throughout the four studios I have taken at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, I have improved my architectural and design skills. I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge in various aspects of the design process such as conceptual designs, technical drawings, computer programs, and hands on model making. I also interned for Trinity Village, a retirement community, for four months. I was involved with the remodeling process and development of computer drawings of the community. During my time at Trinity Village, I became familiar with AutoCad and have also used it for all of my studio projects.
I am a quick and passionate learner and am always willing to help in anyway that I can. I have learned a lot about Architecture, Design, and Structures throughout my years at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. I have gained knowledge in hands on modeling and also various computer programs that I believe will help me throughout my career. I always put 110% towards everything I work towards. I push myself to learn and gain any experience I can out of any situation. I am a very easygoing person with a strong personality and work very well with others. I understand when I need to take charge and when I need to let others be leaders. I learn quickly from others and in return can teach others. I am a very organized person and have learned how to manage my time and priorities. I strive to work as hard as I have to in order to achieve the goals I have set for myself.
