About

I graduated in May with a Master in Design Studies degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design focusing on  History and Philosophy of Design and hold a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I have extensive design, research, and writing skills through my  academic training and work experience. I am eager to continue working in the field of design and architecture and have experience in a wide range of computer programs and modeling techniques. I have extensive expertise with Rhino (7+ years), V-Ray (6+ years), and Grasshopper (6+ years). I am well versed in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suites (PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as modeling with CNC milling, 3D printing, and laser cutting. I also have an extensive background using rendering software. I am quick and savvy in learning new software, tools, and techniques. I work well under pressure and flourish while handling numerous tasks and deadlines.

I have two years of combined experience in architecture and design practice including internships at Vito Acconci Studio, Francis Bitonti Studio, and free-lance work in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In 2009, I spent a semester abroad in India at CEPT University in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. While there, I worked with a local NGO to develop a facade system to reduce sun exposure and explored possible architectural interventions in one of the city’s slums. I am very skilled at multi-tasking and a strong self starter.

I have the drive to think through unexplored territory and discover solutions beyond convention. I know my interest in and pursuit of architectural history, theory, and philosophy have made me a better designer and architect.
