I am in my fourth year of the Architecture program at the University of Cincinnati, DAAP. Our program has been nationally ranked in the top 10 architecture programs for many years, and I am proud to be graduating from it soon. I have worked for a designer/photographer named Tom Sewell in Maui, Hawaii, and a residential architecture firm called Sandbox in Tahoe City, California. I am looking for an internship in the summer of 2011.
The Sandbox Studio, Architecture Intern
Worked with an architecture and engineering firm specializing high-end residential work . Drafted and modeled a variety of different projects in AutoCAD. Created floor plans, roof plans, reflected ceiling plans, electrical plans, site plans, sections, exterior and interior elevations. Constructed rough 3D models in CAD and added detail in Sketchup and Podium.
Tom Sewell, Architecture Intern
Designed and 3D modeled additions to employer's house and studio. Assembled scale models of these additions as well as several structures on his property. Designed shop-fabricated elements and constructed a showerhouse to be used by visitors to his art estate.
Pietro Construction, Builder
Constructed portions of several homes and sheds. Familiar with framing, siding, soffit installation, gypsum and residential roofing.
