Offering a diverse set of design services ranging from architecture and interior design to concept design, merchandising fixture design, and furniture design. Our specific areas of expertise include luxury retail and residential architecture, as well as corporate office and industrial design services.
Our experience working with some of the best retail and residential design firms over the past 20 years has given us a diverse range of strengths ranging from concept design for luxury retailers to the coordination of large-scale retail spaces - environments designed to accommodate many different brands within a unified retail environment.
Residential projects ranging from large villas in Saudi Arabia to smaller lofts and private residences in New York and New Jersey. We also have expertise in the design and coordination of corporate offices and facilities with complex technical requirements, such as semi-conductor facilities and data centers.

• Pier A – 2011-Present
Project manager for the complete interior renovation of Pier A. located on the southwest corner of Manhattan. Base building structure currently under restoration. Managing the project between the client and battery park city authority (BPCA) to
o Coordinate the work with engineering teams for HVAC and structural components, landmarks and code consultants, usgbc green building design, and an array of contractors of the construction.
o Create drawings for landmark preservation committee and other city, state and federal jurisdiction
o Completed design development set of drawings
o Commencing construction documents phase of the project.
  
• Roberto Cavalli Flagship location – 2011
Architect of record and development of construction documents for the complete renovation of the high profile Madison Avenue, NY location.
o Daily Client communications regarding corporate standards set by the Italy team and the local team in New York,
o Design development and construction administration.
o Instruct and coordinate the work with merchandizing vendors for design quality and intent and contracting engineers for electrical and mechanical aspects of the work,

PSI - PRIME SOLUTIONS INCORPORATED - Master Planner and design coordination • 2009-2010
ELECTRICAL FACILITIES UPGRADE; United Illuminating
Champion the planning, coordination, scheduling, and design for an electrical transformation and distribution systems upgrade program for electric company United Illuminating in Bridgeport and New Haven Ct. Demonstrate excellence in maximizing resources, delivering projects on schedule and within budget, value engineering, troubleshooting and creating processes that streamline workflow.

Key Accomplishments & Project Highlights:

• Team leader for Planning
Delivery of design and construction drawings for electrical vaults and splice chamber upgrades in various locations across Connecticut.
o Outlined and Implemented CAD standards for Prime Solutions Incorporated
o Served as Architectural team leader and coordinator of Civil, Structural and Electrical engineering teams.
o Coordinating with city agencies private companies and land owners to realize the buildable areas and possible locations for new vaults to be located.

CH2M HILL - Project Manager, Onsite Facilities Services • 2006-2009
ELECTRONICS, INDUSTRIAL, MUNICIPAL FACILITIES; IBM, Phillips, Micron
Administered all aspects of design and management of numerous data centers, test floors, laboratories, and tool installations/rebuilds on the Fishkill and Poughkeepsie NY campuses. Space Planning and design development for numerous moves and relocations. Orchestrated the design of oil storage tanks and secondary containment refurbishment. Supervised, mentored, and managed a team of design professionals through complete project lifecycle. Established deliverables through space planning, schedules, budget control metrics, and resource optimization processes. Directed programming, space planning, design, and overall construction bidding and document delivery. Facilitated and coordination with design teams, clients, systems engineers and construction managers with the latest version of CAD for all drawing sets.

Key Accomplishments & Project Highlights:

• PERCS Test Floor Planning & Design Manager: Benchmarked and led the development of construction and bid documents for architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines for a PERCS lab.
o Spearheaded schematic design, design development and construction documents for the installation of P7IH – micro-electronics racks and cabinets with water-cooled electronic equipment.
o Worked with manufacturers to develop the specifications for raised floor systems to accommodate standing and rolling loads.
o Design and construction administration for the installation of zero-clearance hydraulic lifts, ramps, and stair systems.

• Lead Architect
Positioned and managed team of architectural designers with various space planning and design projects, including
o retrofit, replacement, and site upgrade to buildings and grounds.
o Led code studies, interpretations, and egress and life safety plans. Compliance with numerous codes including IBC, NYSBC, OSHA, ANSI 117, and NFPA.
o Coordinated project engineering teams to ensure timely deliverables of documentation.
 
• Cooling Tower Replacement:
o Delivered architectural/civil/structural design for an 18,000-gallon-per-min cooling tower replacement redesign and retrofit.
o Administered replacement of stair towers, basin, access ladders, platforms, etc.


• Major Oil Storage Facility (MOSF) Project Manager
o Coordinated civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and control teams for the upgrade of two 450,000-gallon above-ground diesel fuel storage tanks
o one 1.1-million-gallon water storage tank. The design included installation of new tank bottoms with leak detection
o upgrade to surge walls and design of walkways, rails and stairs, truck load/unload station, catch basins, mechanical and electrical systems
o Design for new liner for a redesigned earthen berm to meet NYS DEC requirements for onshore MOSF.

 
UBS INVESTMENT BANK - CORPORATE REAL ESTATE DEPARTMENT • 1996-2005
PROJECT MANAGER/SPACE UTILIZATION PLANNING New York, NY and Stamford Ct
Directed corporate interior space planning and fit-out, managing construction, budget control, compliance, proposal development, and work scheduling. Fostered and grew relationships to develop brand and grow business opportunities. Mentored and led design and architectural teams; managed vendor/client negotiations. Chaired meetings with project heads, decision makers and key stakeholders to report on progress, garner consensus and plan future strategy.

• Space allocation quarterly reporting
Implementation of CAD CAFM database to seamlessly manage space allocation reporting on a quarterly basis for the UBS real estate portfolio in excess of 2 million square feet across the Americas, Canada and the Caribbean.

• “run the bank” daily operations
o Managing teams of electrical, low voltage, communications and carpentry contractors to reconfigure (back office and support floors in addition to the trading floor and datacenter environments) through the move/add/change process. Held weekly meetings to track progress and discuss any changes to the planning process.
o Trading floor reconfigurations
o Data center expansion and reconfigurations

• Strategic planning / space management
o requirements to support headcount fluctuations of the organization for 3,500 person headcount with a one and five year plan.
o Working closely with the managing directors (MD) and executive directors (ED) to manage their space needs and configuration changes.
o Developing space standards that helped create consensus throughout the organization in terms of entitlement and rank.

• Remote site locations
o Responsible for decommissioning and construction driven by growth of remote locations in Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Boston, Houston, Cayman, Nassau, and other cities.
o Assisted UBS clients in site selection through the development of a short list for new locations coordinating lease terms with clients.
o Managed large multi-disciplined groups of architects and engineers in the development of new leased space for clients – projects ranging from 5-10 mil. Coordinated with client and design team (including architect, engineer, security officers, general contractor, electrical contractors for high and low voltage, special installation vendors for furniture and media equipment and demountable partitions, raised flooring, dropped ceiling, etc.) to create workspace for small to medium sized trading floors, conferencing centers, and back office areas, fixed income, private clients and information technology departments.
