About 

Tyler Patin established studioPATINA in 2007 after his professional emergence working in the area of Architecture, Urban Design, and Planning, gaining experience on numerous municipal and state projects. While working on his architecture degree at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, he studied abroad in Mexico City, Mexico receiving the Phi Beta Delta Honor Society Award for International Scholars. With his scholarship, Tyler analyzed and documented the dichotomy of modern architecture in a historical setting, studying the work of Luis Barragan and visiting the ancient sites of Teotihuacán.

Since founding studioPATINA, Tyler has contributed to numerous projects ranging from single and multi-family residential, retail, healthcare, and hospitality. His passion for the cultural vernacular of the Deep South and it’s importance to the regional atmosphere is based on the principal that effective and beautiful architecture should be a symbiotic relationship with the land and people enriched by it.

Involved in the Project Management and Construction Administration of the Peconic Bay Medical Center Expansion in Long Island, New York. This new 49,017 square foot addition includes a new Cardiac Catheterization/ Electrophysiology Suite, Intensive Care Unit, Future Emergency Room Expansion, and Helipad.

Lawrence Group is an architectural design, development and project delivery firm with professional staff in four regional offices in North America. Across our national network of operations, our firm's expertise includes architecture, interior design, urban planning, landscape architecture, real estate development, graphic design, and construction management.

Currently involved in the design and project delivery of brick and mortar stores for Warby Parker throughout the United States and Canada. Recently opened locations include Hayes Valley in San Francisco, Magazine Street in New Orleans, and Winwood Arts District in Miami.

~ Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and staff during modeling, coordination, and construction processes.

~ Facilitate BIM implementation; participate in and report on coordination meetings; perform administration and maintenance; assist design and construction team with model visualizations.
