About 

I have a 6 year graduation in architecture from the Faculty of architecture of the University of Porto - FAUP, Portugal (2004) with honors - awarded best student of the year 2004; and one year post-graduation/research at Bauhaus Foundation, Dessau, Germany (2010-2011) with recommendation.

My native language is Portuguese and I speak fluently in English, Spanish, French and Italian.

I am experienced in Windows and Mac; microsoft office; autocad, archicad, artlantis, sketch up pro, CS4 (in design, illustrator, photoshop, flash), corral draw and freehand.

My professional experience starts in a Urban Planning Office - Rui Passos Mealha arq. (2002-2003) - where I was part of the architecture team responsible for projects like Resend city urban plan, Torres Vedras city Urban Plan, Albufeira city urban plan competition, University of Porto - sector II "Asprela" - urban plan, Porto city; and Vila do Conde city urban plan, all located in Portugal.
After the presentation of my final thesis for graduating in architecture I worked as an architect for the Research Center of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (CEFA_UP) from 2004 to 2006 where I was responsible for projects like the student residence for the sector II "Asprela" of the University of Porto; student residence for the University of Viseu; kindergarten school Carolina Michaelis, Porto; bar/restaurant in Palácio de Cristal public gardens, Porto; and reconstruction of the St. Domingos Church, Guimarães, developed in association with IPPAR (heritage protection institute).
Since 2002 I also founded my own architecture practice with 2 colleagues - metroquadrado@ - a company dedicated to architecture and graphic design, where we developed several projects for commercial, retail, office and residential. Some examples are "Torres restaurant (2004) - reconstruction of an old house plus addition of new construction, Guimarães, Portugal; "matrioska" house (2008), a single house in Gondomar, Portugal; Burmester headquarters (2009) - office in Leça do Balio, Portugal; "small big AP", apartment refurbishment (2009) Porto, Portugal; Red Bull headquarters, Lisbon, Portugal (2010); Hilti headquarters (2011) - transformation of old administrative building into office space; conversion of old weaving factory into Lionesa Business Center (2010), Leça do Balio, Portugal.

I have also participated in several architecture competitions: 6th place - competition "beach surveillance structure - arquitectura e vida magazine"; 4th - competition Tektonica 08 - "itinerant village for a green community"; and 6th place - competition for "Art Center Graça Morais", Bragança, Portugal.

The work I developed as chief architect at metroquadrado® has been selected for publication in specialized online magazines such as ArchDaily and PlusMood amongst others, as well as published in books like I-Space vol. 4, Archiworld publisher; Interior Design magazine April 2012 issue; Joy Office Design III, BySpace publisher; and We Made publisher.

I have lectured at the Architectural Association (AA) London (January 2011) and at the Bauhaus auditorium, Dessau (February 2011)
