About

I graduated from New York School of Interior Design- Masters in Professional Studies- Sustainable Interior Environments. This degree gave me an insight into LEED and I will be taking the LEED Green Associates exam this winter.

I have been working at a small architectural firm, Feldman and Feldman architects, located in central New Jersey. A couple of my duties are to work on different phases of architectual projects: from schematic designs to construction documents. I also have to complete RESchecks to make sure new homes, additions, and alterations meet the requirements of the IECC or a number of state energy codes. I work closely with a New Jersey modular company to construct the foundation, patio and deck plans for residential homes throughout New Jersey. Because of Hurricane Sandy there are new, strict zoning codes along the Jersey Shore that we must follow. Secretary duties include answering phones and scheduling appointments for senior architects.

I have always had a strong passion for the arts and design. I am able to work in any style of interior design. I have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. I have a great personality and am dedicated to my work. I am able to work in a team and meet specific deadlines. My teamwork skills have developed and been perfected through class projects and leadership experiences. Although I am a recent college graduate, my maturity and eagerness to enter the design field will make me an excellent, hard worker.
