I am a fourth year architecture student at the American University of Beirut (AUB), looking for a two month summer internship.
Our five-year program at AUB focuses on conceptualizing and designing architectural projects in different areas of Lebanon and ends with a final year project that tackles an architectural thesis of our choice. Since it’s my last internship before my fifth and final year, I hope to gain some experience abroad.
Through the projects I’ve worked on, I try to provide to the specific needs of that area at a social, cultural, and emotional level. I also pay great attention to the role of materials in adding to the personal experience throughout the projects. Over the past year I have gained some interest in parametric design and have learned to work with the Grasshopper platform for Rhinoceros which is useful in product design as well as architectural design.
