I am a passionate designer and project manager that has a life long commitment to sustainability and making the world a more beautiful place to occupy. Not only am I passionate about architecture, but I have an eye for and love color, graphics, identity design and marketing. I have proportionate design and business ingenuity and I am always initiating positive changes in my working environments.

I have had the opportunity to work with a number of firms, developers and contractors throughout the years. With this diversified experience, I have been able to nurture and develop many skills.

I began my career designing high-end residences and restaurants and then moved on to large scale civic projects such as a police station, fire station, middle school and numerous animal shelters including the master plan for the Pasadena Humane Society. In the last number of years, I have project managed and handled construction administration for multiple Walgreens' new construction projects including the first LEED certified drug store in the country as well as working on various Whole Foods Market renovations.

While working at Laura Burkhalter Design Studio, I was the key figurehead in the re-branding of the firm, re-designing the logo, the font type and the website. I also expanded the online presence of the firm, initiating a modern marketing strategy, by creating and managing a Facebook page, Twitter account and Tumblr visual blog.

During my time at RMCA, I spearheaded the re-organizational structuring of the project files and documents as well as setting standards and practices for file management. I also created and implemented bulletin tracking for client revisions and delta tracking for all projects. All this was done in an effort to make project management more efficient and have the office run smoother.

Having worked on large and small scale projects alike, I move comfortably through every step of the process from the first sketch of a design to stepping onto the construction site and I love every minute of it.
