About

I'm originally from Oak Park, Illinois and learned to appreciate architecture at a young age seeing many examples of Frank Lloyd Wright's designs in my neighborhood and all the great architecture in Chicago. I have lived in Boston, New York, New Orleans, Austin and Washington D.C. and ended up settling in California in the 1980s - first in Orange County, then in Northern California (Napa Valley), and since 2001 in Pasadena - which has given me a broad perspective of the different subcultures and associated architectural contexts that exist throughout the U.S..

I currently function as a project manager at an architectural firm in Pasadena (CA) that specializes in large-scale retail and hospitality design.
