I am able to assist architects to solve vary problems. On one hand, I got my Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from University of Texas at San Antonio with advanced GPA. Through the years of practice on school projects, I have done many exercises on design by learning new skills and study building codes and building technologies. On the other hand, I am studying LEED GA and AP exam and learning piping design at the same time after my graduation. These knowledges will help me further in the future. Since I am new in working on actual architecture projects, I will be more than happy to learn everything that will enhance my ability.
Even though I do not have a License of Architect, I am applied graduate school for fall, 2012. Therefore, I am eligible to be an architect in next few years with a M.Arch degree. Hopefully, I can gain my experience at work and knowledge from school at the same time.
I have vast interest in individual architectural structures and the interdependent relationships among them, especially in their development trends. In recent years, I have done researches on the architecture of different countries, including Italy, China, Japan and the United States. The traveling and researching experience not only helped me in learning the way of design, but also brought me awareness of new concepts in architecture. By studying in these countries, I learned to create designs that can better serve people with different demands, in different region of the world and across diverse cultural backgrounds. Meanwhile, the experiences are making me more aware of the differences in regional architectural developments as well as giving me insights on urban planning and management. In the same time, I have acquired more knowledge and became even more interested in current architectural development trends.

The study of architecture history inspired me and as a result, my thirst of knowledge grew. In the summer of 2011, I participated in a program to study historical buildings in Italy. During my time in Rome, I started to understand its culture and began to think deeply about the relationship between different cultures, historical developments and architectures. Through photographing, sketching and drafting the facades of Baroque style cathedrals, I gained understanding in the structure of Baroque architectures and what they represent. The efforts of my professor, fellow classmates and I are documented on our official website for the Baroque Rome program at the link below.
