Susan Bivone

Dumont, NJ, US

I am a current fifth year architecture student at Rensselaer Politechnic Institute (RPI). I am learning from experienced architects to develop my own architectural style through a broad range of projects. I have completed many projects including designs for museums, furniture, and apartment housing. I was accepted as one of 18 students to participate in a study abroad program in Italy. One of our projects included an analysis of urban development in the 1960 Olympic Village and the city of Rome.

I have incorporated environmentally responsible designs within my work and have a growing interest in accomplishing this in all stages of design and construction. I am a highly organized and detail oriented person and have held leadership roles in the studio, the classroom, and in my extra-curricular activities. These experiences have allowed me to both lead and be a team member when necessary.
