Education

University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ, US, BArch, College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture

While enrolled at the College of Architecture at the University of Arizona, I was involved in a number of unique educational experiences that have together influenced my current design point of view.

In the summer of 2008 I studied architecture in Italy for 6 weeks through the U of A Study Abroad Program. During that time I cataloged and documented the details of my daily experiences and my surroundings in a series of sketchbooks with the goal of creating a complete exploration of Italian architecture and culture.

In 2009 I participated in the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon Competition. "Team Arizona" designed, built, and traveled a completely solar powered modular home to Washington D.C. to compete in this prestigious and highly competitive event with twenty teams from across the world.
