About

"Every problem is an opportunity."
From small to large scale projects there is always an obstacle that needs to be solved.  A good design must have a solution that exploits the situation to your advantage. Whether for human comfort or a specific feeling, every space challenges designers and architects but with careful planning one can achieve the result of the intended experience for the visitors of the space.

About me:
I became proficient in most architectural software used in the field. But mostly I resort back to my initial sketches to explain my concept to my professors at school and to clients at work. I graduated New York City College of Technology for Bachelors in Architectural Technology, where my education was heavily steered by LEED  toward green building and design. Since mid-summer I have been working in Midtown for a hotel company mainly drafting floor plans for renovations and property rentals. I've also been rendering new design ideas and concepts for future developments. Previously, I have been working as a Project Manager at Essex Works ltd for a year, a concrete manufacturer right here in the city that specializes in historical restoration of land-marked buildings. As part of my job at Essex, I have been producing CAD drawings, installation details, and specs for architects and contractors. As the work-flow slowed down, it was the right time for me to move on, to express my knowledge and expertise elsewhere. I freelanced on small renovations (bathrooms and kitchens mostly) and created my website to showcase some of my previous projects. I took on a job working as a Junior Architect for Amsterdam Hospitality, a company that owns and manages hotels along with rental properties in New York City. As the only in-house "unlicensed" architect I mainly work alone, surveying and drafting building floor plans, details for future developments and rental. I also work closely with interior designers in some of the projects, creating  3D renderings of their design ideas for our management team. The range includes hospitality interiors, restaurant and landscape additions for our hotels.

Right now I am still looking for a position as a Junior Architect, to express my knowledge and expertize beyond renovation, take on newer challenges and hopefully further influence the public through my work. I never forget to keep an open-mind to new ideas and always ready to implement new approaches.
