About

I am currently a  fifth year student in the 5-year Bachelor of Architecture Program at Philadelphia University expected to graduate this coming May 2012.

Over the course of four-plus years, I consistently push to further develop my ability to design and represent my work through verbal presentation, hand-drawing, physical modelling and the various tools the computer has to offer. The representation of work is an extension of the architecture itself. While design has been the focus of my education, I understand that strong leadership skills are necessary for not only entering the field but playing an active role within it. As the Team Captain of Freedom by Design and a member of the National Freedom Task Force, I lead students to design, fundraise and build projects for the disabled and elderly and the greater Philadelphia community.

As graduation quickly approaches, I seek job opportunities that expand and build upon the skills developed during my undergraduate career. With a strong interest in Urban Design, I am an applicant to:  Parsons: The New School for Design & Columbia University The Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation (GSAPP). My goal as a young designer is to merge the practice of today with theoretical research to make an impact on our built environment.
