About

My career training has always encompassed the field of Architecture.  During my experience, I learned and developed the skills required to successfully manage projects in a structured architectural design firm.

As a Project Manager and Project Architect: (Eight Years Experience)
•     Directly worked with Principals and Office Managers to establish project budgets and time lines.
•     The result of these meetings led to choosing and managing a team(s) to best perform the tasks.
•     I was the main point of contact and coordination with all parties involved in the project(s).
•     Points of contact and coordination included working directly with the client, school districts, school board members, government agencies, and local building departments.
•     Composed and archived all written correspondence.
•     Develop spreadsheets/templates for improving the project management process.

These responsibilities, as a Project Manager and Project Architect, in small to mid-sized Architectural Design firms, allowed me to work independently on several small-scale projects and as a team member on large-scale projects.  In order to successfully manage my own projects and delegate work to a team(s), I developed office standards and templates for project management processes that aided in streamlining and controlling clerical efficiency.  These standards were implemented in order to provide the same, high quality service for each client while addressing each project’s unique needs and requirements.  This quality of service provided, often led to repeat business from the same school district and attracted new clients by referrals from current clients.
