About

I am an American citizen who was born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland. I recently moved to the United States in the hopes of beginning my professional career in a creative architectural studio with interesting projects. I recently obtained a Master’s degree in Architecture at HEPIA (Geneva’s University for Landscaping, Engineering and Architecture). This two-year program focused on architectural theory, as well as design and conceptual methods for buildings, urban planning and landscaping projects.

Contrary to my Master’s degree, my Bachelor was less theoretical and more practical. My projects ranged from small contemporary houses to museum/art galleries to residential buildings. Here we moved from the initial concept/design of a building to the detailed technical specifications necessary to build it. The attached resume and selection of my projects will provide you with a glimpse of my work.

I am looking to work in a design-oriented architect studio where I could integrate a design team where my creativity would be valued and I could be part of the design process from the beginning. Not only will I bring my European perspective to my work, but my desire for perfection pushes my  creativity to its limits.

I have been working with AutoCAD since 2002 when I began a two-year apprenticeship as a civil engineering draftsman. I have also taught myself several other CAD programs and would have no problem learning additional ones. Four years of work experience in two different engineering/architecture firms have allowed me to acquire practical knowledge and additional skills in bid submittals and site observations, as well as enhance my ability to interact with both clients and contractors.

I would welcome the opportunity to demonstrate my creativity and motivation, and I thank you for giving due consideration to my application. I am available to start immediately. You can find my contact details in the attached resume.
