About

I am originally from Las Cruces, New Mexico and began my career and education as an artist.  I studied painting, drawing, photography and graphic design for three years before studying architecture.  I have seven years of architectural education and have obtained two Masters degrees.  I obtained my Master of Architecture from UNM in May of 2010 and received a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University in May of 2011.

I have two years of experience working in a small architectural design office.  At this office I was lead Cad technician and managed construction document sets and small design details of three projects. I have also interned for four months at Fernando Romero enterprise (FREE) and have collaborated on a variety of design projects primarily in Central America including a concert hall and art museum.  As a freelance designer and visualizer I am currently working on a short animation for NASA  which shows the function of a new prototype they are producing.

I currently live in New York and am a freelance designer and renderer.  I have an advanced knowledge of several software platforms including Rhino, Sketchup, ACad, VRay and the Adobe Cs5 suite.  I also have a working knowledge of Revit and 3ds Max.

My passion in architecture evolves around innovation and progress into unchartered territories. To evolve the field in terms of new technology, forms and ways of life or simply occupying space in a manner that improves our lives.  I believe architecture should evolve and grow, but cannot break from it's lineage and foundation in tectonics, beauty and the simplicity of modernism.
