Hi, my name is Quilian (pronounced killian). I am a designer, writer, and educator currently working out of Brooklyn, New York. I founded and provide the vision for DSGN AGNC. I also collaborate on a variety of architectural design and research projects with other groups, including the non-profit Architecture 2030, Estudio Teddy Cruz, Archinect, Places Journal, #lgnlgn, Harvard University, and Parsons The New School for Design. The projects I work on cross disciplinary boundaries and are located in Africa, Europe and North, Central and South America.

My current interests and research are focused on the study and implementation of flexible and hybrid designs and processes at a variety of scales to address urban, landscape, architectural, ecological, and social systems. These holistic designs seek to mediate the conditions of overlooked urban areas with challenging environmental, social, economic, political, environmental, and physical contexts.

I also currently teach design and urban theory studios at Parsons The New School for Design (undergraduate and graduate) and have taught architectural and urban design studios at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design, Wentworth Institute of Technology, and the City College of New York. I attended University of Florida for a Bachelors of Design in Architecture and Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design for a Masters of Architecture.

Get Yer Groove On! : Archinect Dance Party

A dance party (also referred to as "a dance") is a social gathering where dancing is the primary activity. Some dance parties are held in a casual setting and open to the public, such as a rave, or those held in nightclubs and discothèques. Other types of dance parties may be a formal or semi-formal private event which often require guests to don formal wear and have an invitation or membership within the community hosting the event, such as school dances and Cotillions.
