My name is Sidney Ruedas, and I am a motivated and accomplished recent graduate from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Design in Architecture, complemented by minors in Sustainability & the Built Environment, as well as Urban & Regional Planning. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a notable GPA of 3.74 and consistent placement on the Dean's List. My background in hands-on service work with the community has guided my interest in creatively shaping the world to fit the needs of people while simultaneously taking into account environmental limitations and human desires. I gained leadership experience through a variety of roles at my time at the University of Florida, thus establishing a well-rounded background for a recent graduate interested in working in the design field. I aim to return to academia in pursuit of a Masters in Architecture in the foreseeable future. I am dedicated to applying architectural knowledge and leadership capabilities to contribute meaningfully to projects while growing further within the architecture field.
