My name is Matthew Gershovich, and I am a recent college graduate from Bard College, in which I received a degree in architecture with concentrations in the digital arts. I am writing to you, inquiring about this exciting opportunity for involvement with your company. I have years of experience with AutoCad and general architectural drafting and design within my studies.

In my studies, I heavily explored the ways in which space/architecture, aesthetics, and design influences the structures of consumption and human sociological foundations. Bard instilled a unique and nuanced lens into the architecture and design world where I considered implications of race, sexuality, gender, and class into the creation and analysis of design. In my year-long thesis entitled Rendering the Cyberfag: An Examination of the Spatial Sociology of Grindr, through writing, renderings, design and film I explored the almost diasporic nature of queerness from the physical to the digital in relation to aesthetics and design.
