About

www.rennietang.com

I moved to LA four years ago from the Bay Area where I worked with landscape architect Walter Hood, both in his studio and teaching at UC Berkeley. Prior to that I lived in New York where I worked with artist Mary Miss on some urban scale public art projects, after graduating from Columbia's Masters of Architecture and Urban Design program. I also have a background in modern dance, which has made its way into my work in different ways, particularly collaborations with choreographers and other artists. I have taught design studios at UC Berkeley, UC  Davis, Woodbury, USC and Cal Poly Pomona. I am originally from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada.
