I served as Production Team Leader for the Living Learning Center at Appalachian State University, as well as the BIM manager for projects at Salisbury University and Longwood University. I have helped extensively with development and documentation for projects at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital, and for Methodist Retirement Communities. I have also assisted with projects at San Jose State University, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and the research center at Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University.
I have also coordinated LEED implementation and documentation for projects at Appalachian State University, Virginia Tech, Duke University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Newport News Shipbuilding. In addition, I assisted with a sustainable design review of Embassy design requirements for the US Department of State.
I am actively involved with community outreach through design. Through Perkins+Will, I lead the local Social Responsibility Initiative that provides pro bono design services to those who could not access those services otherwise. I also coordinate the office's adoption of Thompson Park in the Charlotte Mecklenburg Parks system, and I participate in a number of other volunteerism activities. Finally, I am the Charlotte Chapter Coordinator for Architecture for Humanity, which provides a medium through which designers and volunteers can do pro bono design work and services.
