ULI - Gerald D. Hines Student Urban Design Competition, Honorable Mention
The ULI Gerald D. Hines Student Urban Design Competition offers graduate students the opportunity to form their own multidisciplinary teams and engage in a challenging exercise in responsible land use.
Student teams comprising at least three disciplines will have two weeks to devise a comprehensive design and development program for a real, large-scale site full of challenges and opportunities.
E. Lewis Dales Traveling Fellowship Competition, 3rd Place
Awarded each year for travel abroad in the summer before the students final year of study. Students are selected for the Fellowship through a portfolio competition.
D3 Natural Systems Competition, Award
The 2013 competition calls for innovative proposals that advance sustainable thought and performance through the study of intrinsic environmental geometries, behaviors, and flows. By identifying, examining, and applying their structural order on form and function--bottom-up, performance-based solutions for limitless building typologies, functional programs, and material conditions may be realized.
