Caterpillar selected The Maude Group to design and build a compelling and educational visitor experience that is the core of its new visitor center. This 50,000-square-foot environment surrounds visitors with the story of Caterpillar yesterday, today and tomorrow. It includes highly interactive exhibits and simulators. The Center projects Caterpillar’s values while celebrating dedicated customers, dealers, suppliers and Caterpillar employees worldwide. It is part of a major redevelopment project in downtown Peoria, Illinois, and was recognized with an IDSA International Design Excellence Award in 2013.
