Competition, Yintai Tide Pools

the only thing we were told was to create an interesting space where people from the city would gather and interact.

After going to the city we discovered that althought they had beach they didnt use it due to the fact that the quality of the sand was very bad for leisure purposes, so we decided to create pools that would be full of sea water, they would be full or empty depending on the tide, if the pool was full it could be used as a pool, if it was empty and the tide was low i would have other uses, such as open air concert hall, skate park, ect...

At the same time we thought about creating a landmark that would have a connection with our pools and the seapath that we also created.
