KTGY was brought in to renovate the Northridge Fashion Center Mall. This was a unique experience do to the fact that the Mall had a lot of preexisting conditions left over from the Northridge earthquake. Our goal was to redesign of the common spaces creating a refreshing new look and experience as well as bringing the center up to current ADA standards. The general upgrades include new tile and paint throughout the mall concourses. Each "refresh" project also includes new signage, amenities and unique features per mall design. The Northridge Fashion Center "Refresh" includes all of the above as well as an upgrade to the main courts, food court and outdoor patio expansion. A couple of the unique features included at this mall are seen at the large barrel vault skylights where large fabric panels and custom pendant lights are hung from above.
