Jun Ahn is a student at Columbia University as a candidate of Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design. He strongly desires in designing a city, architecture, and a space for people with strong dignity. Jun’s mission as a designer is to confront conflict, inequality, discrimination, and deficiency and create an innovative strategy by finding mutual intervention and revitalizing a community. More than architecture and urban design, Jun seeks to discover a new way of communicating society and culture through innovative technology such as Virtual / Augmented Reality or BIM. Jun holds a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design.
Jun is a part-time architectural intern at the NBBJ New York Office during 2017 Spring Semester. His recent work of Liberty Museum competition hosted by Archasm has been awarded for Honorable Mention with the concept of 'Recall the Past. Revive the Present. Relief the Future.'
