In December last year I graduated from my Masters of Architecture at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, with a GPA of 3.8. My final semester was undertaken on exchange at Parsons School of Design. Throughout my studies I have accrued the equivalent of 2.5 years’ full-time practical work in renowned architectural firms, both in the US and Australia. I am highly competent in Rhino, V-Ray in 3ds max, CAD, Revit, PhotoShop, InDesign and Illustrator.
I am a designer who likes to push the boundaries of materials, and have explored this across many scales and mediums. I have personally designed and made jewellery, sculptures, lighting, teapots, furniture and building designs. Professionally I have worked on a range of projects including custom furniture, window displays, large-scale sculptures, small buildings, train stops, institutional buildings and future urban planning schemes. I am a passionate person who is rigorous and precise with my work, and always execute any task with enthusiasm.

Sarah Oppenhemer, New York, NY, US, Intern
From March to May this year I completed a three-month internship for the New York-based artist Sarah Oppenheimer. Oppenheimer’s work spans the disciplinary boundaries between sculpture and architecture. Her sculptural interventions disrupt the architecture of the exhibition space by physically displacing the conventions of the built environment. While working with her I was mainly in charge of physical model-making, in which I tested her design iterations. In this process I gained a unique understanding about the interactions of light in space and the subtle changes in form that can completely alter ones experience of space.

Whilst there I worked as part of a small team that completed a medium sized institutional project from Sketch Design through to Construction Documentation for 'Pathways' at Latrobe University,
Melbourne Australia. The building is currently under construction and is due for completion this year. The practical experience I gained in all areas of the architectural process at Lyons was invaluable, and I proved to be capable of working quickly to tight deadlines while upholding a continually high standard of work.
