Design Philosophy
Designs are not imposed, they evolve as a response to careful analysis of many factors. These factors include client’s needs, site, program, climate and regional character while keeping in mind how buildings are designed, built, and operated to be sustainable. This response lies at the heart of Architecture because it transforms problem solving into an art form. Architecture is a functional art that creates experiences that rewards the senses. Carefully developed and explored solutions lead to building designs that spark imagination and emotions. Buildings that not only perform, but excite, inspire, uplift the spirit, and enhance consciousness.

Under close supervision, assists the Architect in application of principles, methods, and techniques of architectural technology by performing the following duties.
o Develop a fundamental understanding of projects and the interrelations of components required for
execution.
o Understand and adhere to PSC CADD standard quality and accuracy.
o Collaborate with other team members to prepare information regarding materials, colors,
equipment, and products.
o Learn and understand PSC requirements for proficient use of design software.
o Gain exposure to contractual documents, relationships and project processes between the firm,
other team members, the client and the construction industry.
o Gain exposure to PSC Standard Forms.
o Explore the profession and gain fundamental understanding of project processes through:
- Assisting in research and the preparation of studies and reports.
- Collecting and analyzing relevant project data in design of projects.
- Assisting in field surveys.
- Preparing scale drawings and documents.
o Assist with preparation of Opinions of Probable Costs (OPC).
o Assist in construction phase services Square 1 (QA/QC).
- Assist with cross discipline checks and coordination.
- Review lessons learned logs.
