Provided Conceptual Design (Master Planning / Design Development), Project Management, Construction Documentation, and Construction Administration for various national food industry related dry / cold storage projects. Additional Responsiblities and Duties included: Project Meetings (coordination of projects) with in-house Engineers, Project Managers, Design Staff, and also with Owner/Client, Construction Personnel and Manufacturer's Reps. Assessed drawings for discipline and redi-check reviews, and coordinated revisions with project design staff, prior to project document submission to client for construction/permitting. Reviewed general contractor submittals; Generated and reviewed specifications; Developed code research leading to code reviews and analyses. Projects included: Aldi, Kowalski Co., Fage', Welch Foods, Redgate, Safari II, Armstrong, Hance Construction (Halls' Warehouse), Sysco, Saputo Cheese, Newco, Amish Country Farms, Meijer, Kroger, C&S Wholesale, and BD Diagnostics. Of these projects, there are two projects I contributed significant work:

Aldi Midwest (Dwight, IL, Valparaiso, IN, Oak Creek, WI) projects: +/- 50,000 SF ($10 M) dry/cold storage additions. Traveled to attend all three site OAC Meetings and met with Client (Regional Manager and Staff) and GC to discuss the condition and progress of the projects. Provided meeting minutes and photographic documentation of overall progress of each project. Additional travel to ALDI in Dwight, IL to perform inspection punchlist of dry warehouse addition. Evaluated significant submittals from GC: shop drawings, product data and samples.

Kowalski Co.(Hamtramck (Detroit), MI) project: +/- 50,000 SF ($20 M) dry/cold storage addition, including 2nd floor office renovations. Traveled with Project Team (Webber/Smith Engineers and Project Manager) to attend “Kick-Off” meeting with client, civil engineers, and general contractor. Attended meeting with owner to discuss architectural plan layouts / schemes and programming requirements of the 2nd floor office renovation. Thereafter, continued to produce design development drawings based upon owner's requests (AT&T Go-to meetings from Webber / Smith office, with the client).

Developed construction documents (using Microstation XM V8i & AutoCAD 2010) of large-scale DuPont plant projects (Kevlar in Cooper River, South Carolina, Morses Mill in New Jersey and Spruance in Virginia). Also
developed construction documents for a large scale office building renovation project for Corning, located in Concord, North Carolina.

Produced construction documents of a large scale, 500 million dollar green-field industrial DuPont Project (Kevlar Plant) located in Cooper River, South Carolina. Produced designs and drawings for the lobby and monumental stair of a 100,000 s.f. administration building. Also produced specifications and architectural details, including finish selections. Coordinated work with in-house MEP and structural engineers. Met with manufacturer’s representatives. Presented design schemes to DuPont executive staff at the project site in Charleston, South Carolina. Produced construction documents for additional projects:

DuPont Morses Mill Project, Morses Mill, NJ - 1.5 million dollar project, 4,000 s.f. blast-resistant building. Work also included developing a Project Scope of Work for Estimating, designing space plan layouts, coordinating work with in-house engineers, attending project meetings with Project Manager, in-house Engineers, & DuPont site and construction staff to coordinate the project.

DuPont Zytel Adipic Acid Project, Spruance, VA - 20 million dollar project, 10,000 s.f. roof and tower addition. Work also included developing a Project Scope of Work for Estimating, coordinating work with in-house engineers. Attended site project meetings with Project Manager and Engineers to present the project to the DuPont site and construction staff.

Corning Concord II Project, Concord, NC - 100 million dollar project, 275,000 s.f. interior factory renovation. Work also included producing specifications, developing material take-offs for Estimating, developing work hour estimates for architectural portion of work, and coordinating work with in-house architectural and engineering staff.
