We are currently seeking a Project Architect/Project Manager in New York, NY. The Project Architect/Project Manager will have a focus on pre-leasing activity, including due diligence reports and scope of work definition working closely with the brokerage community and the project management team. Candidate should be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously and be able to perform under tight timelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct existing conditions surveys and prepare architectural base plans, sections, elevations and details as appropriate to document relevant conditions
  • Review applicable building and accessibility codes and develop a list of criteria to be reflected in the design documents
  • Attend meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and vendors as required
  • Prepare detailed site analysis/due diligence reports that will be used to develop tenant improvement Scope of Work.
  • Develop Scope of Work and coordinate with broker contacts and project management team.
  • Oversees the development of test fits including revisions.  May be required to present and/or review plans with agency personnel.
  • Prepares cost estimates using pre-developed pricing matrices for the defined Scope of Work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 5-10 years’ experience in the Architecture profession.
  • Experience working on government and/or corporate projects.
  • Strong client management skills, good communication skills, and the ability to handle several projects simultaneously with tight timelines.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook. 
  • Architectural License and LEED AP accreditation a plus.
  • Local to NYC and experience working on NYC projects.
