ZGF Architects LLP, recipient of the AIA Architecture Firm Award, is an internationally recognized architectural, urban design, and interior design firm with over 470 people in five offices. Our office is looking to add a Design Manager with a broad range of expertise, including advanced technology buildings, research and healthcare projects, in addition to other public and commercial experience.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading the firm's design and technical team and consultants, managing schedules and budgets, and the expertise to review and evaluate design and construction drawings for quality and accuracy. Team leadership skills, in all project phases, essential. The desire and ability to interview for projects, negotiate and implement contracts, use project planning software and effectively manage for design excellence is critical. Excellent visual and verbal communication skills required. Candidates must also have a depth of experience and knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and the integration of engineering disciplines. Design sensitivity in the applicability of building code requirements and delivery of high-performance, sustainable design initiatives, is expected.

Required qualifications include a minimum of 12 years’ experience as a Design Manager. Experience with OSHPD is a plus. Candidate must be a licensed Architect with a minimum Bachelor of Architecture Degree from an Accredited University.

Knowledge of Revit, and experience with electronic mark-up programs (DWF, PDF, and Bluebeam), as well as the Adobe Suite, is preferred. LEED accreditation preferred but not required.
